As a professor of ASP. NET, I tried several textbooks. I always like a textbook to complete my education, but it imposes. ASP is Muraco. NET does exactly that and is an excellent book for teaching web programming for its size.
The left page explains a particular concept, while the right-hand page illustrates the concept with code snippets that are easy to understand. My students frustrated trying to sift through such programs as long to find the few lines of code that show a particular point. Muraco snippets of code, the code is easy to understand.
The authors also use the code below instead of embedding the code from the ASP. Old Style. Do many books, so this book a more rich and more modern form in ASP. NET to do.
The more I read this book, the better it gets.

I recently obtained a copy of this book (full title: “ASP Muraco. Net Web Programming with Visual Basic. Net”), and it is terrible. In particular, it contains the best tutorial and problem solver to use IIS I’ve seen – and I know the forums that this step very soon causes many people a lot of problems. (Me included in one!)
This book uses a technique of having the lead story on the left page, with support from the synthesis of major and / or diagram the right page. This can be very useful in strengthening the areas particularly difficult and is comfortable to shoot again when you need something to see. In general, I think it works very well.

In a nutshell: One of the best books I bought!
I needed to immerse themselves in ASP. NET fast enough because I had a running project to its expiration. That was a programmer who knows Visual Basic and Delphi well enough. I knew that the theory of ASP. NET, but had no practical experience. This book taught me to build in record time and get my first web application running.
The best starter book imaginable. The second book I bought on this subject was ASP. NET Unleashed, which is a wonderful book if you have any ASP. NET experience.
For beginner Muraco a book is just a dream, and although I’ve written a couple of web applications now, I still use it as a quick reference. It’s worth every penny in gold.

The book is a good reference for both experienced or ASP beginnner. NET Developer. He has the depth and provides a very detailed description of certain aspects of the ASP. NET, covering all the key issues – the controls, validators, state management, session security, ADO. NET programming and simple HTML tutorial. The weakness is not a profound presentation of VB. NET, Web services, XML,. NET Framework in general.

ASP is Muraco. NET web programming with VB. NET by Doug Lowe and Anne Prince is an in-depth training and reference text for ASP. NET programming with VB. NET. The book is based on previous books Muraco Muraco start Visual Basic. NET and VB Muraco. NET programming concepts and database covers more advanced programming ASP. NET pages. The book covers the use of session state, cookies, database classes, classes of objects, validation of user controls, the status of implementation, the development of user controls, the Crystal Reports viewer and security. As with previous books in the series the book is very complete. The only fault I find is the inclusion of instructions on how to use Access databases and XML files as data sources. Although this subject has been treated very well in the database of book would have been nice to have a brief overview of the subject specifically for ASP. NET. MedlinePlus The book is written in the same style as the last two books I’ve reviewed that makes it easy to learn and later as a useful reference. All code is well documented with the syntax is explained in full before the code it uses. In each segment of the book is the complete code for the application you are working on is also included if it was originally introduced several previous chapters. There are errors in the book and the site is an addition to those. I managed to find a mistake, not detect anything already on the page. MedlinePlus This book enabled me to write web pages for two clients as that is exactly what I wanted to help me. The sections on process rather than helped me in the security of web applications and database classes. No previous book has done a quality job showing how to do those things. MedlinePlus Overall I give this book a 9 out of 10 with a point deducted for not including some examples of how to use XML files or Access databases as data sources for web pages.
