  1. I also read Transcending CSS, so I was not sure how much more of this DVD can offer but I’m a big fan of Andy Clarke, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised with the design and step by step DVD design. Andy provides realistic examples and walks in the HTML and CSS, while developing a fictitious site called “Activate the Death Ray.” After developing some web sites from the same lot and work every day as a web developer a lot of DVD has been re-apply the concepts already understood, but it is always good to hear a modern master CSS and Andy. I leave some clever CSS tricks I’m sure it will add to my collection and web development a bit “easier.

I gave 4 stars out of 5, and that as I watched him jump back to chapter menu (which was quite annoying), after some more, not only through the game. Bloopers at the end were funny, wish Andy was a little “about the “blunder” Andy course, did a bit of fun. “

Overall, well done, many things to put in a DVD and I’m spending the whole development team, where they are to ensure that everything is in accordance with standards compliant web development and have at least a basic understanding of design concepts, such as print and color.

This video has been incredibly useful. I am a professional Web designer who regularly read blogs, sites and CSS poke book reviews, so I did not expect to learn a lot. And I’m not when it came to box model or specify colors.

But seeing the working methods and process, and hear about the thought process behind the design steps have been incredibly helpful. We will guide you through making a linear scheme for the content of the page (which makes it accessible and well-structured) in a word processor and then HTML, then the style of typography, the design of the page, and then many details such as buttons, image parts, etc.

I ordered the DVD for inspiration before starting a new project reviews, and I already feel as if they were receiving more I originally paid!

This video shows how and why the transition to the standards of accessible web design. In it, CSS wizard, Andy Clarke shows his belief that the creation of a website must be approached from a browser instead of a fixed design models. He explains how end users can change the designs of the times zoom web pages to fit your screen, or to make printing easier to read. Instead of starting with a model that is a page designed for printing rigid tells how a browser will flow through all the design changes that may be affected by the end user or display device.

On the way, Andy covers the basics of CSS layouts, as well as working with type and color to enhance a project. Its methods, tools and resources are shared. I particularly liked the way that makes the background color for all other areas of a website. The humorous outtakes at the end of the video shows a comic side that is seen in the main part.

If you have not already been convinced to move to a more modern approach in building web sites, or need an update because of it, this video will be a valuable tool. Following a suggestion from Andy working save time and improve design skills. I enjoyed this DVD and recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their ability to create web.
